Here are items needed in the barn, please pick a few to give to the Virginia Polo program & ponies this winter!
For the ponies & barn:
No Bow Leg Wraps (standing wraps), 6 sets needed, $25.95 each
Fluffy White Half Pads, always needed, $70.95 each
Black Gel Half Pads, 6 needed, $72.95 each
Equalizer Girths, any size 42”-46” always needed, $117.99 each
10 Packs of Black Electrical Tape, regularly needed, $18 each

For the student players:
Polo mallets with lighter heads (best for young & intro players) 52” and 53,” $120 each
NOCSAE Certified Polo helmets, size 59cm and up, UVA initials on back, $700 each
Polo whips, orange, 7 needed, $38 each
For the facility:
Run-in sheds for the pastures behind the barn, 3, around $13,000 each

Our mission is to provide polo to students from all walks of life & make polo accessible to students who have not had the opportunity to play before. The Boot Camp and Club Team (a large group rather than just a team really) are students we introduce to polo.
To reduce the cost of the sport with otherwise high financial barriers to entry we strive to provide as much equipment as possible for our introductory players . Equipment included in the “For the Student Players” section are items that will belong to Virginia Polo and be used by our beginner players.
If you would like to extend the opportunities to new players purchasing items on this list in the player section is a wonderful and direct way.
