The Polo Club at the University of Virginia
Established in 1951, the Polo Club at U.Va. is a student organization made up of those University students with a common interest in polo. The Club provides an opportunity for students to learn the sport of polo. Each year the polo club runs a lesson program taught by its members. The objective is to give students basic polo skills in order to allow them to become full members of the club. A full member is able to participate in club scrimmages, tournaments, and intercollegiate polo competitions. There are between 30 and 40 members each semester.
